We provide comprehensive, holistic care during pregnancy, birth & postpartum in North Central Virginia. Our practice offers birth house & home birth options to local families. The Nest is located in beautiful Madison, Virginia less than 30 miles from Charlottesville and 20 miles from Culpeper. We are happy to provide care to families within a one hour radius of our location.

This peaceful location is easily accessible from 29 with over an acre of scenic mountain and pasture views for those walks in labor, or gazing out onto from your suite. Our birth house consists of two well appointed, private birth suites that each include a full or queen size bed, large windows with serene views, a couch, a birth pool, and private hall bath. The Nest also houses a full kitchen, a large family room space for consults and prenatal appointments, as well as a cozy sunroom for welcoming clients and their families.

Follow the gravel walkway to our sunny client entrance. Inside we have a light filled space with comfy chairs for families to wait for their appointments, though there is rarely a wait. Take a peek at our posters with info on upcoming events, or grab a free sample packet of belly lotion or a free box red raspberry leaf tea when you visit.

We love water birth and are thrilled to be able to provide this option! Our birth rooms feature single use, inflatable, Passages Pools. These economical pools have inflatable floors as well as sides. The pool molds around your body and makes position changes easier and more comfortable. Pools also available for purchase if planning a home birth.
